How to Tape Plantar Fascia with K-Tape

A short instructional video of how to apply K-Tape to support the plantar fascia. This taping technique can be used to treat plantar fasciitis, heel pain, mid foot injuries, tarsal joint injuiries, tasro-metatarsal joint injuries, or Lis Franc injuries.  

 

 

How To Tape Plantar Fascia Heel Pain:

  1. Measure the required length against the foot
  2. Round the corners to prevent them lifting off
  3. Fold a flap for top of foot
  4. Cut diamond windows for 2nd & 3rd Toes
  5. Gutter the tape towards itself to catch the leading edge
  6. Apply an inch at each end with no stretch
  7. Apply tape along plantar fascia and Achilles with 50% stretch
  8. Second length of tape across medial arch
