How To Tape A Calf With K-Tape

A short instructional video of how to apply K-Tape to a calf muscle.  This taping technique can be used for an acute calf muscle strain injury, an Achilles tendinopathy, or a calf muscle contusion (cork).

 

 

How To Tape A Calf:

  1. Measure the required length from under the foot to top of calf
  2. Round the corners to prevent them lifting off
  3. Gutter the tape towards itself to catch the leading edge
  4. Apply an inch at each end with no stretch
  5. Apply tape with 50% stretch

 

Used For:

  • Calf muscle strain
  • Calf muscle cork
